Field Merchandiser | National In Store | Stamford, CT National In-Store (An Omnicom Group Co.) is the industry leader in retail marketing services. Our Fortune 500 clients enlist NIS to handle their retail marketing events, product demonstrations and execute in-store marketing programs in over 1 million retail doors per year. Due to our diverse growth, National In-Store is currently seeking retail merchandisers with experience in successfully building relationships in the retail market. Our representatives are responsible for executing timely visits with minimal supervision. The successful candidates must also be detail oriented, a self-starter, and computer proficiency is necessary for web reporting. This position plays a vital role in the introduction of new products as well as product merchandising in order to ensure our clients the best support available. We are currently working to expand our merchandising support staff. This is a part time position, utilizing a flexible schedule and will run continuously upon training completion. Job Responsibilities & Qualifications: Maintains store shelf standards and inventory. Including rotation of products. Supplies point of sales materials and shelf management services. Implements shelf schematics. Builds and maintains rapport with store personnel to effectively meet company and client objectives. Completes all store calls as assigned by District Manager. Maintain regular contact with Field Supervisor through phone calls, bi-monthly conference calls, regular mailings, and field reporting. Reports store visits and activity via computer on a timely basis. 1-2 years of prior Merchandising experience. Candidates must possess some retail sales background (two years preferred). Must have a computer with internet/web access and the ability to send and receive email attachments. Intermediate knowledge of E-mail, Internet and basic MS-Office (Word & Excel).
